David S. Lee is Chairman of the Board for eOn Communications Corporation and Cortelco, and Spark Technology Corporation. Born in China, Mr. Lee holds an honorary doctorate of engineering and a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Montana State University and a master's degree in the same field from North Dakota State University. Currently Mr. Lee is a member of the boards of directors of ESS Technology, iBassis, Inc., Linear Technology Corporation, and Daily Wellness Company. He was an advisor to Presidents Bush and Clinton on the Advisory Committee on Trade Policy and Negotiation (Office of the U.S. Trade Representative/Executive Office of the President) and to former Governor Wilson through the California Economic Development Corporation and the council on California Competitiveness. He is a member of the President's Council on the 21st Century Workforce, appointed by President George W. Bush. Mr. Lee has served on the Board of Governors for California Community Colleges. Governor Wilson appointed Mr. Lee to The Regents in 1994.
